The holiday season is upon us and the holiday season is not complete without a Christmas parade. Enjoy these Christmas parades throughout Middle Tennessee.

1Westmoreland Chamber Christmas Parade 2022

December 3, 2022 at 2:30 p.m

The parade begins at Westmoreland Middle School and ends in downtown Westmoreland


11:00 am – Line-up begins

13:00 – Float Judging

2Portland Christmas Festival & Parade – “Winter Wonderland”

December 3, 2022, 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m

Main Street activities begin at 3:00pm including food vendors, live music, cookie making, visiting Santa and more! The parade begins at 5:30 p.m. on Freedom Drive and heads south on Highway 109 to Portland East Middle School. This year’s theme is “Winter Wonderland”

3Mt Juliet Christmas Parade

The theme of this year’s Mt Juliet Christmas Parade is ‘A Golden Christmas’.
The parade route is Mt. Juliet League off Lebanon Rd. to East Division Street off N. Mt. Juliet Rd.

Parade Timeline:

  • 7:30am – 9:30am – Parade Staging
  • 10:00am – 10:15am – Float Judging
  • 10:45am – Mt Juliet Rd. Completed
  • 10:45 am – Moment of silence honoring Rowan Ace Frensley
  • 11:00 am – The parade begins

4Lebanon Christmas Parade

December 4, 2022, 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Parade at 2:00 p.m.)

Historical Lebanon Square

This year’s theme is ‘Home for the Holidays’. The square has food trucks, opportunities for the kids to send letters to Santa and of course shopping and restaurants!

5Columbia Main Street Christmas Parade & Tree Lights

December 3, 2022, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m

The City of Columbia, in partnership with Columbia Main Street Corporation, invites you to the annual Columbia Main Street Parade and Tree Lighting! This nightly parade begins at 6:00 p.m. and begins at Trotwood/W. 7th Street splits and marches east to downtown and around Courthouse Square, which takes approximately 1 1/2 hours. The parade will progress to the tree lighting with approximately 20 minutes of live entertainment to allow parade participants time to return to the plaza for the tree lighting.

6Franklin Kiwani’s Christmas Parade

December 3, 2022, 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m

The Franklin Kiwanis Club partners with the Williamson County Fine Arts Programs, bringing together talented youth from Williamson County middle and high schools, as well as community groups, local businesses, dance teams, nonprofit organizations and family contributions to host a fabulous Christmas parade in historic downtown Franklin .

The parade is the only fundraiser for the Kiwanis Club each year. Funds raised will be used to provide multiple $1,000.00 in scholarships to local graduating seniors, support Williamson County Fine Arts Programs, and support numerous local organizations that provide services to children.

7Spring Hill Christmas Parade

December 10, 2022, 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m

Break out your tinsel, leg warmers, aqua net and all that neon you can find for the Spring Hill Christmas Parade 2022: Electric Boogaloo.

That’s right, this year’s theme is the 1980s! Will there be break dancing in the streets? We really hope so!

Mark your calendar for Saturday, December 10 at 5:00 p.m. to go back to the future with the Kiwanis Club in Spring Hill, TN. We may not be able to hit 88 MPH, but we’ll still time travel!

8thSpringfield Christmas Parade – Rudolph’s Night to Shine

November 19, 2022 at 6:00 p.m

This year’s parade takes place again at night! There will be tons of colorful bright lights and of course there will be a winner for best float design and the winner will be based on sticking to the theme. We all need a little more joy and there’s no better place to get your fill than the Springfield Christmas Parade.

The Chamber of Commerce is one of the collection points for the Kiwanis for Kids toy drive. Toy collection boxes will be available at the parade check-in location. The parade entry fee is one new unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots per vehicle/car. Groups of 5 or more are asked to bring several toys with them. The need this year is greater than ever. Cash/gift cards for Walmart etc for shopping for the older children are also accepted.

9Fairview Christmas Parade

10Gallatin Christmas Parade

December 10, 2022 at 12:00 p.m

The Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce proudly invites you to participate in The Goddard School’s 2022 Gallatin Christmas Parade: “The Twelve Days of Christmas”. The parade starts at 12pm and ends with Santa ringing in the Christmas season!

11Leipers Gabel Christmas parade

December 10, 2022 at 2:00 p.m

Lee Roy Parnell was announced as Grand Marshal for the parade. Past Grand Marshals include Kid Rock, Loretta Lynn, and John Schneider, who ride in General Lee.

As with other parades, you will see school bands and local organizations. Still, you can also expect to see antique tractors, horses, Hatcher Dairy Farm cows and there are always other celebrities making a surprise appearance.

Please arrive early as there is only ONE road through the village and it closes at 1:50pm.

12Goodlettsville Christmas Parade

December 3, 2022 at 4:00 p.m

The annual Christmas Parade is a time for our community to come together and celebrate the holiday season. We encourage businesses, organizations, and groups alike to participate in a float and get involved with like-minded people from the community. For those interested in competing for the organization’s best representation/performance, the judges will award cash prizes to the top three places in that category.

All proceeds from registration go back to the community in the form of a donation to the Goodlettsville Help Center.

Please note that there is no parking on Memorial Drive or French Street for parade participants. Drop-off is available at the Delmas Long Community Center or parents can bring their children inside after temporarily parking in the Liz’s Kitchen parking lot. Vehicles are not allowed to remain parked in this lot during the parade. The parade ends at Goodlettsville Plaza and the floats do not return to the starting point. View the staging map here.

13Dickson Christmas Parade

December 17, 2022 at 6:30 p.m

The 2021 Christmas Night Parade was such a success that the city has decided to repeat it this year! This year’s theme is Tennessee Christmas. The parade leaves the DCHS parking lot at 6:30 a.m. and makes its way down Main St. with your friends and neighbors to show what Christmas in Tennessee means to them.

14White Bluff Christmas Parade

fifteenAshland City Christmas Parade

The Ashland City Christmas Parade is scheduled for Saturday 3 December 2022 at 5pm. This year’s theme is Christmas Movies.

Registration for parade floats is open. There is a limit of two floats per Christmas film, so submit your entry early.

The city has previously announced that it has reached its car limit for Grinch, Polar Express, Elf the Movie, The Star, Christmas Vacation (Chevy Chase), Charlie Brown, Christmas Story, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman

The closing date for entries is Monday, November 28, 2022. Registration is required to participate.

16Clarksville Christmas Parade

December 3, 2022, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m

All parade participants are encouraged to choose their favorite Christmas movie and decorate their float or vehicle accordingly. To be eligible for an award, one must decorate appropriately to the theme.
